Gysapeo Coop Club is a voluntary organization, opened to all persons able to use their services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership, without gender, social, racial, political or religious discrimination.

Gysapeo Coop Club is democratic and controlled by the members, who actively participate in setting policies and make decisions. Women and Youths serving as elected representatives are accountable to the members. In the primary clubs, members have equal voting rights (one member, one vote) and clubs at other levels are also organized in a democratic manner.

Members contribute equitably to, and democratically control, the capital of their club. The resources for the development of the club, possibly by setting up reserves, part of which at least would be indivisible; benefitting members in proportion to their transactions with the club; and supporting other activities approved by the membership.

Gysapeo Coop Club is autonomous, self-help organization controlled by their members. If they enter into agreements with other organization, including governments, or raise capital from external sources, they do so on terms that ensure democratic control by their members and maintain their club autonomy.

Gysapeo Coop Club provides education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their clubs, communities, and the nation. They inform the general public, particularly young people and opinion leaders about the nature and benefits of co-operation.

Gysapeo Coop Club serves her members effectively and strengthens the club’s movement by working together with local, national, regional and international structures.

Gysapeo Coop Club works for the sustainable economic growth and development of their communities through policies approved by the members.
